Dmitri Demiashkin’s talent was recognized early. It was for this reason that his family moved to Moscow in 1991 where the nine-year old Dmitri was admitted to the Central Music School of Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Conservatory. After having graduated with distinction in spring 2000, he went on to study at the Winterthur Conservatory under Konstantin Scherbakov. In 2002, he moved to Homero Francesch at the Zürich University of Arts where he passed his Concert Diploma with distinction and completed his Soloist Diploma in 2007. His career has involved numerous concerts in many European countries and in the USA. Dmitri Demiashkin has already won many renowned international prizes. Most recently he took part in the "Casagrande” Competition in Terni, Italy, where he was awarded second prize, a special prize and first prize for the best final-round performer.
