Premiere in Bonn: For the first time, the eight prize winners of the past editions of the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn (2005-2019) came together on stage in a joint concert and celebrated a musical ode on the occasion of Beethoven's 250th birthday. The paths the pianists have taken, how they have developed since then - all this was shown in a very varied evening that focused on Beethoven's piano music.
In addition to individual contributions, all eight pianists came together on stage for the premiere of Alexander Maria Wagner's "The Concubines of Suleyman I", a Turkish march based on Ludwig van Beethoven, played on three pianos.
