Einav Yarden

Israeli pianist Einav Yarden studied with Leon Fleisher at the Peabody Institute and with Emanuel Krasovsky at the Rubin Academy in the Tel Aviv University. She appeared as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Minnesota Symphony, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, Bucharest Philharmonic, Calgary Philharmonic, Jerusalem Symphony and others, under such conductors as Neville Marriner, Aldo Ceccato, Leon Botstein, Stefan Blunier and Mendi Rodan. She won prizes at the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Bonn, Minnesota International Piano-e-Competition, and Honens International Competition. As a recitalist she appeared at such festivals as La Roque d’Anthéron, Young-Euro Classic Festival, Ruhr Festival, Menton Festival, and Flâneries Musicales de Reims, and in the halls of the Berlin Philharmonie, the Berlin Konzerthaus, Paris’s Salle Cortot,

Musée d’Orsay among others. Her performances were broadcast on BBC, Deutsches Welle, WDR, Deutschlandradio, WQXR, WFMT, MPR, WBJC, and CBC. In May of 2013 she released her solo debut CD, ‘Oscillations’ on the Challenge Classics label.

Playing a wrong note is insignificant but playing without passion is unforgivable.
